2010 DEALER EXPO & 1ST GNCC EVENT
The 2010 Dealer Expo show in Indianapolis went really well. I had three bikes there and a lot of traffic came through Houser Racing’s booth where I spent most of the weekend.
The first round of the GNCC’s went pretty well for me. I finished 13th in the XC1 class and 34th overall. Honestly, I was quite a bit off of pace from the top riders. My bike worked well and I was able to see what changes I need to make to improve bike setup for the other rounds. With GNCC racing being pretty new to me, I was able to get a feel for how to get through the woods at a good pace.
Round two was held only 6 days after and I found myself with another 13 place finish. I was much closer to the finish times of the top riders in the XC1 class and finished 20th overall. I was much more comfortable out in the woods and was pretty happy how the day went.
The GNCC racing community has been very welcoming and are glad that I decided to race the series this year. There are a lot of people coming around checking out my bikes. I am looking forward to the next round in a couple of weeks and the start of the MX season the weekend after that.
